This aplanatic (coma-free) optic system is similar to what is in use in nearly every observatory reflector worldwide. This telescope comes with high-end optics the system in use in this model is the Advanced Coma-Free. The telescope in current use by our Astrotracking section of SPEX is the Meade LX200-ACF.
